Glass Ceramics

These specialty materials have been formulated by producers to achieve stability of thermal expansion as well as featuring best properties of constituent materials. Some are more transparent like glass, some more opaque like alumina ceramic. All process well by diamond grinding, but where softer than technical ceramics, single-point machining is possible with some.
